OBJECTIVE:

To give recognition and opportunities for advancement to the most prettiest and talented Guest Relations Officer (GROs) in the entertainment and club industry in Bulacan.

 

EVENT ORGANIZER:

v     Megasphere Event Organizer –

QUALIFICATIONS:

v     female,  between 18 – 28 yrs. old,  preferably single

v     with pleasing personality, pretty and sexy

v     talented, (talent to be performed shall either be singing, dancing, acting, and other desirable talents   and skills related to sport, arts & music)

v     working as Guest Relation Officer (GRO) in a club at Bulacan

v     contestants shall be judged by the following criteria: beauty-40%, physique-25%, talent-20% and  poise & projection-15%, total of 100%

 

REQUIREMENTS:

v     filled up and signed entry forms (can be reproduce for additional copy) as provided by Megasphere together with a  non-refundable P300.00 entry fee;

v     1 pc.passport size colored picture, and 1 pc. 3R size  picture whole body shot

v      latest  work permit , if any,  or letter from club owner appointing the contestant as the club’s representative, for individual contestant not representing club should submit proofs working as GRO

v     any 1 valid ID (voter’s ID, driver’s license, passport, etc.)

v     xerox copy of NSO authenticated  birth certificate (if possible, bring original for verification)

 

REGISTRATION & PRE-SCREENING SCHEDULE & VENUE:

v     submission of entry forms (registration) shall start on November 5,  2007, 

daily from 9am to 5pm at Megasphere Event Organizer c/o Megasphere

Fitness Centre – Mcarthur Hway, Bunlo, Bocaue, Bulacan

 

 

v     contestants shall be ready in showing and performing the talents/performances and bring the  necessary props and cd music  during

pre-screening/registration. However, this is subject to “first come first serve basis” with only the 1^st ten  contestants who came earlier will be given a chance to perform during the pre-screening. Pre-screening will be held at Megasphere Business & Training Centre – Mcarthur Hway, Abangan Norte, Marilao, Bulacan (near Bocaue-Marilao Arc)

 

CONTEST SCHEDULE:

v     Daily contest schedule:

·        starting December 3, 2007,  Mon.,  Wed. & Thurs,   9pm onwards

·        daily contest schedule which fall on Mondays-holidays shall be moved

on Sundays, for Dec. 24 shall be held  on Dec. 23 and likewise for  January 1, 2008 shall be held on  Dec. 30.

 

v     Weekly contest  schedule every Fridays,  9pm onwards

v     Grand finals schedule is on  February 16, 2007,  8pm onwards

SPONSORSHIPS & ADVERTISEMENT:

 

v     Major sponsor – MEGASPHERE Event Organizer

v     Various major sponsors which will be solicited also from beauty salon, video & photo rentals, sports wear and gown fashion designers,  and more.

v     Sponsors can  contribute and donate in the form of cash, gift certificates, or any valuable items  and shall be forwarded directly to event organizer MEGASPHERE located at c/o Megasphere Fitness Centre McArthur Hway, Bunlo, Bocaue, Bulacan

v     Majority of the proceeds will subsidize the overhead cost, cash prizes of winners and incidental costs for this contest. Part of the proceeds will also be donated to a chosen charitable institution protecting the rights of the victims of violence against women and children.

 

 

 

 

v     Sponsors and Donors shall be acknowledged, promoted  and advertised in banner, poster and exclusive magazine/editorials for this contest. Donations below P500 is entitled also for line ads. For tarpolin ads on stage due to limited space, “first come first served basis”. This will be posted during the duration of the contest.  If possible submit your donations and ads on or before November 30, 2007,  before the start of the contest The following advertising rates will apply:

REMINDER TO SPONSOR-ADVERTISER:

 

During the grand finals day, a showcase of products and services as additional promotion and advertisement  can be exhibited by the major sponsors (those placing sponsorhip/ads more than P3,000 worth) of the contest in the designated area/space in  the event venue. The sponsor’s-advertiser’s showcase or display of their product and services shall start from 5 pm until the end of the grand finals night.  For this purpose, interested major sponsors shall contact and inform  MEGASPHERE in advance or as early as possible because  this one-day showcase  have limited space subject to “first come first served basis”.  Only 15 slots shall be shared by   sponsors/exhibitors with their own constructed exhibit table or booth occupying  a floor area of not more than 1 1/2 square meter each

MEGASPHERE CONTEST RULES AND REGULATION (DETAILS)

         

1. Contest shall be open only to all qualified Guest Relations Officer (GRO) in Bulacan represented by the club she is currently working.  GROs who do not wish to represent any club can join the contest, provided however, that she will submit proof/s that she is working as GRO (like letter or authorization from her floor manager, health certificate or work permit).

 

2. Megasphere shall have the right to amend, revise, add, and/or delete any or some of the contest mechanics, rules and regulations should they found it necessary  to do so.  Megasphere shall have the right to disqualify contestants who were discovered to have not met the qualifications, made misrepresentations  and failure to submit the complete requirements.  Non-appearance during the contest day schedule shall also disqualify the contestant and forfeiture of the entry fee. Contestants shall notify in writing MEGASPHERE if she will no longer join the contest to give time to screen other qualified contestants as replacement.

 

3. Due to limited time, the rule on “first come first serve basis” will be implemented with only the 1^st ten  contestants who came earlier will be given a chance to perform during the pre-screening,  excess will be given their respective scheduled date. Non-appearance on the given pre-screening schedule shall disqualify the contestant and forfeiture of the entry fee.  Megasphere shall be given notification in writing for any changes in the performances already pre-screened.  Talents to be performed shall be for a duration of not more than 5 mins. and shall either be singing, dancing, acting, and other desirable talents   and skills related to sport, arts & music. Costume outfit can be worn provided it is not offensive (no nudity).  Props may be used.

 

4. During contest proper, contestant are expected to give due respect to competitors, event organizer and committee and shall respect and accept the judges’ decision as final.  Any untoward incident or actions shall disqualify the contestant.  Grand Finalists are also required in the group presentation number to be choreographed and supervised by MEGASPHERE. Contestants shall be required also to appear during pictorials and related activities & promotions set by MEGASPHERE.

 

5. “MS. MEGAHOTBABE” contest is the first contest ever held for Guest Relations Officer (GROs) in the Philippines and this original concept was organized by MEGASPHERE in recognition of the contribution of the  most prettiest and talented GROs in the entertainment and club industry in Bulacan. 

 

 

 

CRITERIA IN JUDGING:

Beauty                   -        40%

Physique                -        25%

Talent                    -        20%

Poise & Projection   -        15%

 

          Total                               100%

 

JUDGING OBJECTIVES:

 

I.)  BEAUTY,  POISE & PROJECTION

Formal Dress                    - for daily and weekly contestant

Evening Gown                  - for grand finalist

This round is designed to give the judges the opportunity to get a general impression of the contestants. Wearing formal dress for daily and weekly contestant and evening gowns for the grand finalists, the contestants will introduce themselves, give a brief biography and their philosophy in life and beauty. There is a time limit of 30 seconds at the microphone. Be individual in this round. We urge style, flair and overall beauty. Some of the costs for gowns might be expensive but we suggest that you look for resale shops that rent beautiful dresses and gowns or look in your local yellow pages under bridal shops and formal wear. Also, check with local boutiques, and thrift stores or “tiangges” or “ukay-ukay”. Some contestants could borrow gowns from some of fashion designers boutique in town as their sponsor.

      BEAUTY  (40%)

v      “Natural” beauty

v      General impression of contestant (overall grooming and cosmetic  appearance).

 

      POISE & PROJECTION  (15%)

v     Poise (self assurance, composure, carriage).

v     Projection (Did the contestant speak clearly and distinctly? Did she have something to say?)

 

II.)  PHYSIQUE (OR PHYSICAL BEAUTY)

Fitness Outfit (except swimsuit)    - for daily contestant

Swimsuit                                   - for weekly & grand finals contestant

 

Contestants will be judged on overall physique or physical beauty. Contestants should have good to excellent physique or proportion body  appearance.  Contestants should appear to have constructed her physique naturally  through proper diet and fitness training.

 

 

 

 

 

 

     PHYSIQUE (25%)

v     The contestant should have good and proportion body appearance

v     Appear to have reasonable levels of body fat.

v     The physique should appear evenly developed, displaying the contestants attention to a totally fit body rather than an unbalanced or specialized body.

 

III) TALENT:

Costume Outfit                 - for daily, weekly & grand finals contestant

 

Contestants will present a talent routine for not more than 5 minutes. They will emphasize their extra ordinary talent.   The routines are meant to give the judges some idea of the contestants' special talent and skills.   It also gives the contestants the opportunity to express their creativity and interests. Contestants are encouraged to perform a  routine which show their best talents. These include any talent or interest they might have such as singing, dancing, acting  or other talent and skills related to sports, arts and music.  Costume outfit can be worn provided it is not offensive (no nudity).  Props may be used.

 

     TALENT (20%)

v     Extra-ordinary talent and executions should appear effortless.

v     Difficulty and diversity of talent

v     Projection of audience awareness.

v     Project personality and creativity.

          1 -  Other Club Owner (not represented by any winning daily contestant)

 

Grand Finals - distinguished judges composed of six persons  as follows:

          1 -  Club Owner (not represented by any winning weekly contestant)

          1 -  Gym Owner (not Megasphere)

          1 -  Beauty Salon Owner

          1 -  Beauty Product Distributor Owner

          1 -  Video & Photo Rental Owner

          1 -  Fashion Designer

 

 

 

PROJECT COMMITTEE:

To form project committee to facilitate in the success of this event preferably representing club owners, major sponsors, community leaders to voluntarily participate in the execution and implementation of the project rules and regulations.

SPECIAL EVENT DURING GRAND FINALS:

v     Grand Finalists have the opportunity to show off their beauty & physique by sporting cosmetics and make-up and wearing long gowns and swimsuit which can be sponsored by famous beauty salon and fashion designers in town.  These sponsors will also be acknowledged and promoted by the event host during the fashion show and introduction of individual contestants.

v     Grand Finalists will also require to participate in the group presentation which will be choreographed and supervised by MEGASPHERE choreographer. Also in group picture taking and pictorials which will be taken by MEGASPHERE sponsor.

v     Special entertainer/s, host, guest and judges shall be invited in the grand finals night.
